The Product Family of Sensor Capsules

INTERNET OF BIOSPHERE by Ecosoph is the world’s first sensor system that works with self-powered modules for real-time monitoring of water, air and soil. 

The IoB wireless sensor modules are designed on low-power and ultra-low-power standards in order to be self-powered and energy-autarkic. All nodes of the IoB wireless sensing network integrate seamlessly, providing maximum scaleability and flexibility while reducing your cost of ownership. Modules are available for water, air, soil, as well as water levels and snow hight. Data is streamed close to real-time into the cloud.

CONNECTIVITY OPTIONS

To connect the IoB sensor modules to the cloud, our platform currently works with NB-IOT, LoRa Wan and Bluetooth. Sensor modules can be individually configured according to your use case.

NB-IOT: Data transmission via commercial telecom carrier, requires a SIM card contract. We con provide modules with or without SIM cards.

LORA-WAN: Transmission standard for regional networks, allows for wireless connection of sensor modules up to several kilometres around the gateway.

Bluetooth: Wireless standard for local data connectivity in a limited range below 100m only.
